Our 3rd–5th grade students participated in a March Madness Math Tournament throughout the month of March! Classrooms competed against each other, focusing on accuracy and time spent learning on Freckle. Congratulations to Mrs. Byrnes' 4th grade class, who were the champions, and Ms. Stephens' 4th grade class, who came in second place!

On Wednesday, April 2, Van Meter had two teams compete in the WCAC Knowledge Bowl Contest. Both teams performed well, and the Van Meter Blue team won the championship for the second year in a row! Way to go, students!
